Morris Bailey is a Montréal poet of Jamaican ancestry, born in the UK. His poems have been in Vallum, Columba, and in the chapbooks X-TRACTS (Turret House) and What Lasts (2 Susans Poetry Circle). His poem, “On the Thirtieth Anniversary of Tiananmen Square," was long-listed for Vallum's poetry prize in 2019. He works for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
