Maya Clubine studied English literature at St. Jerome's University (Canada), and the History of European Painting at Trinity College Dublin. She won the Vallum Chapbook Award in 2023 for her collection of poems Life Cycle of a Mayfly. Her paintings have been in exhibitions across Canada, and her poems have been in journals such as The Literary Review of Canada, Rattle, and Ekstasis. She is studying poetry at the University of St. Thomas (Texas).
