John Wall Barger is the author of several books of poetry, including Smog Mother (2022), The Mean Game (2019), The Book of Festus (2015), and Hummingbird (2012), all from Palimpsest Press. He was born in New York City, grew up in Nova Scotia, and now lives in Philadelphia where he teaches at the University of the Arts.
