Mary Dean Lee was raised in Georgia and studied at Duke, Eckard, and Yale. Her first book of poetry is Tidal (Pine Row Press, 2024). Her poems have been in The Fiddlehead, Ploughshares, Event, Grain, and other journals. She lives in Montréal and taught in Management at McGill University for many years.
