Lee Maracle is a member of the Stó:lō Nation and teaches in Indigenous Studies at the University of Toronto. Some of her recent books are Hope Matters (written with daughters Columpa Bobb and Tania Carter, Book*hug, 2019), My Conversations with Canadians (Book*hug, 2018), Memory Serves (NeWest Press, 2015), Talking to the Diaspora (ARP Books, 2015), and Celia's Song (Cormorant Books, 2014). The recipient of several awards, she is an Officer of the Order of Canada, and was a recent finalist for the Neustadt International Prize for Literature.
