Lee Maracle is a member of the Stó:lō Nation and teaches in Indigenous Studies at the University of Toronto. Some of her recent books are Hope Matters (written with daughters Columpa Bobb and Tania Carter, Book*hug, 2019), My Conversations with Canadians (Book*hug, 2018), Memory Serves (NeWest Press, 2015), Talking to the Diaspora (ARP Books, 2015), and Celia's Song (Cormorant Books, 2014). She is an Officer of the Order of Canada, and was a recent finalist for the Neustadt International Prize for Literature.
