Cassidy McFadzean was raised in Saskatchewan, and holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She is the author of two books of poetry: Hacker Packer (McClelland & Stewart, 2015), which won two Saskatchewan Book Awards, and Drolleries (M&S 2019), shortlisted for the Raymond Souster Award. She was runner-up for the Jacob Zilber Prize for Short Fiction and won silver at the 2020 National Magazine Awards for poetry. She lives in Toronto.
