Carmelita McGrath is the author of more than a dozen books of poetry, fiction and children’s literature. Her most recent works are Event Boundary (d' Iberville Press, 2018) and Escape Velocity (Goose Lane Editions, 2013).  She is the recipient of several awards including the Atlantic Poetry Prize and the E.J.Pratt Poetry Award. McGrath is from Newfoundland. She lives in Montréal, where she works as a freelance writer and editor.
