Edie Meade was raised in eastern Kentucky. Her poetry, fiction, and essays have been published in The Indianapolis Review, The South Shore Review, The Normal School Literary Magazine, and several other journals online and in print. She also has a background in art and journalism. She lives in West Virginia with her family. ​
