Barry Schwabsky is art critic for The Nation and co-editor of international reviews for Artforum. He recently published his fourth book of poetry, Feelings of And (Black Square Editions, New York). He has written several books of criticism, including The Observer Effect: On Contemporary Painting (Sternberg Press, Berlin, 2019). His poetry will be visible this spring in New York's Times Square as part of an installation by visual artist Raúl Cordero.
