G.C. Waldrep is from the southern United States. He studied history at Harvard and Duke, and creative writing at the Iowa Writers' Workshop. His most recent book is feast gently (Tupelo Press, 2018), which was winner of the 2019 William Carlos Williams Award. Some of his editing projects include Homage to Paul Celan (with Ilya Kaminsky, 2011) and The Arcadia Project (with Joshua Corey, 2012). He teaches at Bucknell University and is a member of the Old Order River Brethren.
